Sangtin Kisan Mazdoor Sangathan (SKMS) or the Sangtin Peasants' and Laborers' Organization is a people's movement based in Sitapur District of Uttar Pradesh, India. SKMS aims to enact "empowerment from below", and its 5000 members have mobilized and struggled around a range of issues. Over ninety percent of SKMS's members are from dalit communities, and more than half of them are women.

Sangtin Kisan Mazdoor Sangathan (SKMS) is a people's movement based in Sitapur dt., Uttar Pradesh. It emerged from Sangtin, a group set up by rural women to enable them to be bigger stakeholders in the processes of development at all levels. In its 2008-09 budget, Sangtin seeks funding for capacity building
and ongoing mobilization in its villages; operational expenses; publication costs for its newsletter; startup costs for livelihood initiatives and exposure trips.  AID-College Park has approved Rs 200,000 to support this work.

Jagriti Bal Vikas Samiti (JBVS) is a non-profit organization committed towards the quality computer education to young generation living in villages. The organization aims to provide  training for basic computer literacy, computer as a tool for learning in schools and home, and training in hardware.

RTI campaign in UP and Bihar mainly focuses on citizen empowerment through Right to Information.  AID supports 20 full-timers in the project who are working on increasing awareness on RTI act and how it can be effectively used to fight corruption. The campaign is also expanded towards effective implementation of the National Rural Employment Guarantee scheme (NREGA) and Right to Food.
