The AID Associate Jeevansaathi Program

The Jeevan Saathi program began in 1998 to enable and encourage AID volunteers return to India. To further enahnce the program and attract many young minds, AID started an Associate JeevanSaathi program. AID Associate Jeevan Saathis make a commitment to work on development issues, being part of AID's network in India, and opening up new directions for AID to explore.

    Kamayani kamayani swami started delving seriously in the field of social change and development as a Masters student at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (Bombay). After 17 years of formal schooling she had previously gone through kamayani, like many others, had a lot to learn and unlearn.
