Dear friends,
We invite you to the Association for India's Development (AID) General Body
Meeting of Washington DC area on May 14. AID thanks you for your
generous and continuing support towards our development
work in India.
The GBM is an opportunity for you to interact with
AID volunteers and know more closely about our current activities. Importantly, it
is an opportunity for us volunteers to seek your inputs and
ideas so that we can serve the cause better. The
details of the GBM are given below:

(1) Presentation on
the activities of AID
College Park chapter. A
brief description of the various projects supported by AID
College Park
at grassroots level in India, fundraising efforts and
general chapter affairs.
(2) Presentation on AID's Tsunami Rehabilitation activities in Tamil Nadu, AP and Andaman & Nicobar
(3) Discussion with
AID Jeevan Saathis, Ravi Kuchimanchi and Aravinda LS, who are working as full-time coordinators in
AP and Maharashtra
for more than 7 years.
(4) Interactive
session with donors and community members.
We hope that you will be able to attend and make it an
enriching event. The local AID chapter has grown
out of the community here, and your attendance would be a great
encouragement as well as a chance to deepen our
relationship.

lights, make Right on Campus Drive
to enter Univ of MD campus. Go past the Big M circle.
Pass the bus-stop, and Stamp Student Union is the building on your right. Make
a Right on the Union Lane,
and park in garage on left. (For directions from Mapquest
use Campus Dr. @Union Lane
as the destination)
